Welcome Back!

It's amazing how much life settles down when mom ends school!  I am finally getting back to a lot of things that have been put on hold for the last 3 1/2 years- like blogging!  Here are some pictures of the last two months, letting you know what we've been up to!

Finishing up clinicals as a student nurse!

My pinning ceremony.  I asked my parents and Russ to give me my nursing pin because they sacrificed so much to help me.
The best nursing class ever!

Ella wanted to go to the lake for her Birthday, but we couldn't get everyone together.  So we decided to make a trip to the Grand Canyon.  You know that we can't go the traditional way, though.  We took the truck and Brandon's Jeep (pronounced Yeep!) and went on some very rough roads to Toroweap.  We had a lot of fun and enjoyed visiting the Grand Canyon for the first time!  Grandpa Larry and Brandon had been there before, but the rest of us hadn't.

On Memorial Day, we did take the boat out to Quail Reservoir to fulfill Ella's birthday wish.  We had a beautiful day in the sun.

My cousin Rachel and her two girls, Grace and Katelyn, came down to visit for a few days.  We went to the splash pad on Main Street in St. George to beat the heat for a while.  The kids love going to any of the splash pads- especially when it is over 100 degrees!

Then, my cousin Daniel, his wife Julie, and their cute baby David stopped by while they were visiting Zion National Park.  Daniel is in the Air Force and gave Brandon and Ben lessons on starting a fire- "Air Force Style" the way he learned in his wilderness survival course.

Russ studying Daniel's topographical map.

Although I had to work on the 4th of July, we were able to sit at Chad and Ashlee's house to see the fireworks.  It was a spectacular show!

Then, the annual Leavitt Family Reunion began!  Since Russ had to work the first day, he stopped by with the ambulance before we all left to go hiking in Zion.

Whew!  We have done so much lately!  Tuesday I start my job as a Registered Nurse at Dixie Regional Medical Center, and then in two weeks we leave for Seattle!  I'm sure I will have tons of pictures to post!
